Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Social Media to own the organic social media strategy and execution across our core channels (e.g., Instagram/Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X/Twitter, LinkedIn). This role combines strategy, content creation (shooting, editing, writing, posting), community building, and seeding to drive awareness, engagement, and brand affinity. You’ll report on performance, identify trends/themes weekly, and keep a rigorous content calendar humming.
What You’ll Do
- Own the organic social media strategy and execution end-to-end: planning, production, publishing, and iteration.
- Create content yourself (video, static, captions, hooks) and post natively and via schedulers.
- Build and manage a content calendar (cadence, pillars, campaign timelines, weekly themes).
- Lead seeding: identify, gift, and track creators/advocates; manage outreach, product shipment, and disclosure compliance.
- Identify trends/themes weekly; publish a short “what’s working/what’s next” report and rapidly test new formats.
- Own channel hygiene: comments/DMs, community guidelines, escalation/response playbooks.
- Set targets and report on KPIs (reach, engagement rate, saves/shares, follower growth, UGC volume, seed→post conversion).
- Partner with design, growth, and CX to ensure on-brand storytelling, timely launches, and feedback loops.
- Maintain an organized asset library, naming conventions, and version control for speed and quality.
What You’ll Bring
- 5–7+ years in social media for consumer brands, with a track record growing organic channels.
- Extremely organized operator with strong project management; comfort in Notion/Airtable and scheduling tools.
- Proven hands-on creator: filming (phone-first), editing (CapCut/Premiere/Canva), and writing thumb-stopping hooks/captions.
- Demonstrated success with seeding programs (from list-building to gifting to attribution tracking)
- Analytical mindset: comfortable pulling and interpreting native platform insights; can turn data into next steps.
- Excellent brand voice control and community management skills; calm crisis comms instincts.
- Ability to build and run a content calendar across multiple brands and regions.
- Portfolio of content you personally produced.
- Bonus: Experience in supplements or health & wellness.
Location & Workstyle
Remote-friendly; some off-hours posting/community coverage during launches may be required.
