[ Position overview ]
We’re hiring a Head of Product to design what we sell next across the Elevator portfolio: FluffCo, Notorious Cookware and the brands that come after. This is a creative seat, not an operations one. You find where customer appetite is heading, you call the trend before it peaks, and you turn it into a product that is made to travel on TikTok: visual, demonstrable, scroll-stopping, and good enough that people reorder. You own concept, design, colour, material and the story a product tells in its first three seconds on camera. Then you hand a finished spec to our sourcing and manufacturing team, who own the factories, the sampling and the cost. You report to the Managing Partners and work beside the creative and growth teams, because a product that can’t be shown doesn’t ship.
[ Responsibilities ]
- Own the product roadmap across the portfolio: what we make next, why, and in what order
- Read the market ahead of it: TikTok Shop, Amazon movers, creator content, competitor launches, and the comments underneath, turned into a point of view on what people will want next
- Design products end to end: form, function, colour, material, finish, packaging and unboxing
- Design for the camera. Every product built to be demonstrated in a short video, not just described on a page
- Write the spec that sourcing can build from: drawings, references, materials, tolerances, the non-negotiables and the nice-to-haves
- Work with sourcing and manufacturing through samples: review, mark up, approve, without owning the factory relationship
- Partner with creative and growth from the first sketch so the launch content is designed into the product
- Build the product calendar and, in time, the design team around you
[ Requirements ]
- 5+ years in product design or product development for consumer goods, with at least one product you designed that sold in volume
- A record of products that worked because of how they looked and performed on camera, and the instinct to spot the next one
- Taste you can defend: design, colour and material decisions, with a portfolio that shows them
- A trend-caller. You can show us what you saw coming before it arrived, and what you did with it
- Fluent in the language of manufacturing without needing to run it: materials, finishes, tolerances, what a factory needs from a spec
- Comfortable with speed and volume: short cycles, many SKUs, several brands at once
- Proficient with AI tools for research, concepting and rendering, with the judgement to know what’s real
- Remote-ok, fluent async, comfortable across time zones
[ Benefits ]
- Competitive compensation
- Ownership of product across a multi-brand portfolio, reporting directly to the Managing Partners
- A sourcing and manufacturing team that takes your spec and builds it, so you stay on design
- A seat beside creative, growth, ops and capital, with the budget to ship
- Front-row seat to building brands at scale, and a playbook you can take with you
