[ Position overview ]

We’re hiring a Head of Capital to lead Elevator Capital. You’ll own the investment thesis, source and close deals, and steward the portfolio alongside the founders. The role sits at the center of a multi-brand consumer holding with operating, marketing, sourcing, and infrastructure capabilities already in-house.

[ Responsibilities ]

  • Lead Elevator Capital end-to-end: thesis, sourcing, diligence, structuring, and post-investment support
  • Build and run the deal pipeline across early-to-growth stage e-commerce brands
  • Run financial modeling, valuation, and term sheet negotiation with founders and co-investors
  • Partner with portfolio companies on growth, M&A, and exit pathways
  • Own LP relationships and capital partner communication
  • Build internal systems for pipeline tracking, portfolio reporting, and quarterly reviews
  • Coordinate with our service businesses (Atlas, SkyVane, CreativeDose, Boardgame, Outpost) to add value to portfolio companies

[ Requirements ]

  • 8+ years in venture, private equity, M&A, or senior operating roles in DTC or consumer
  • Demonstrated track record sourcing, structuring, and closing deals
  • Deep network across consumer brand operators, founders, and capital partners
  • Strong command of financial modeling, deal structures, and capital markets
  • Operator empathy: you have either run or worked closely with consumer brands
  • Sharp written communication; comfortable presenting to founders, LPs, and boards
  • Proficient in AI tools and modern investment workflows
