[ Position overview ]

We’re hiring a Vibe Coder / Ecommerce Designer to design, build, and optimize high-converting ecommerce experiences, entirely in AI tools. You sit within Boardgame, our brand creative and incubation studio, and your work serves two fronts: the internally owned and operated Elevator portfolio brands, plus a select roster of external ecommerce clients Boardgame serves as an agency. You are a vibe coder first. You don’t hand off mockups and wait. You think it, build it in Claude and Manus, ship it, A/B test it, and iterate fast. Equal parts right-brain taste and left-brain rigor: you make it beautiful and you prove it converts.

[ Responsibilities ]

  • Design and build conversion-focused landing pages, funnels, and full storefront experiences using AI-native tools (Claude, Manus, and similar) for both Elevator’s internal brands and Boardgame’s external agency clients
  • Own the full loop: concept, build, launch, A/B test, analyze, iterate
  • Translate each brand’s identity into pixel-tight, on-brand pages that feel premium and stay congruent from ad click to checkout
  • Run structured experiments with hypotheses, variants, and statistical significance, then make data-backed calls on what wins
  • Apply ecommerce and CRO best practices to lift conversion rate, AOV, and funnel completion
  • Build and maintain congruent funnels where the ad, landing page, offer, and checkout all tell one coherent story
  • Work within Shopify to implement and adjust storefronts, sections, and theme settings
  • Partner with the Boardgame studio team and coordinate across the portfolio: sync with CreativeDose on ad creative, SkyVane on funnel builds, and ops on inventory and fulfillment
  • Build reusable design and test playbooks so what wins for one brand transfers cleanly to the next

[ Requirements ]

  • Proven vibe coder. You design and build directly in AI tools and can show us pages or sites you’ve shipped this way
  • Expert in AI build tools, Claude and Manus specifically (or you can demonstrably ramp on them in days)
  • Real design taste. Strong sense of layout, typography, hierarchy, and brand. Your work looks expensive
  • CRO and experimentation chops. You know how to structure a test, read the data, and avoid fooling yourself with noise
  • Ecommerce fluency. You understand buyer psychology, offer structure, funnel mechanics, and what actually moves revenue
  • Working Shopify knowledge: themes, sections, basic Liquid, and the storefront editing workflow
  • Equal parts qualitative and quantitative. You can make it beautiful and prove it converts
  • Comfortable serving multiple brands and external clients at once, switching context and brand voice cleanly
  • Remote-ok, fluent async, comfortable working across time zones
  • Bonus: Experience with Triple Whale, GA4, Northbeam, or other analytics and attribution platforms
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Liquid, HTML/CSS, or light front-end
  • Bonus: Experience running paid traffic or working closely with media buyers
  • Bonus: A portfolio of before-and-after CRO wins with real numbers
